check.this.out... I am one to admit mistakes (yeah, not really).. but i will this time.. my babe to tot package (can check out the old one here)  well, it really was not the best thing for my clients.  while i had a lot of things in there that my clients wanted, i also had things that i thought were wanted.. and it made the package really expensive..

so here is the deal.  after this awesome seminar i attended this weekend.. i realized, the best thing for my clients is to offer an AWESOME program for them to take part in that is a great deal.. and you can get what you want - not what i want you to get!  and then you can add just what you want.. with a bit of a discount...

the babe to tot program :: $150

3 month, 6 month and One year session (3 separate sessions)

complimentary newborn session (babes first two weeks) with purchase of the babe to tot program

10% off orders from these sessions

24 custom birth announcements

and as a gift at the completion of the program, three 5x5 portraits in a gorgeous frame - one from each session.

there then would be four sessions total if you join the babe to tot program before your babe is two weeks old... all sessions must be completed in child's first year.

much to post :: but am a dork and can't

guess who has a TON of stuff to post.. (me).. and peeks to share (me).. and guess who can't do much at all because she gave blood and is a dork and didn't think that she would need the arm for editing!  (yep, me)  I give every 8 weeks and this happens each time!  it is always chilly on the bus and I always choose the side that is warmer.. and that means my right arm is my giving arm..

i will work on getting my babe to tot plan up tonight, but editing is going to be out of the question.. maybe.

finally my kids are well - actually that is not true - but they are well enough for me to catch up on posting some peeks...

little Avery here.. well, she is a graduate of our babe to tot plan (to be revamped in two short days so stay tuned.. ).. she will be turning one on St. Patty's day.  I was fortunate enough to be at the hospital the day she was born, but this little lass gave me a run for the money and decided to spend the first 12 hours or so in the NICU.. to be true to form, she gives me a tough time each time i photograph her - i adore her and her little 'tude.  Her brother, Aidan, on the other hand.. LOVES me.. and it's mutual..

one more day :: then the real work begins

super fantastic seminar last weekend.. and I have sooo much i want to implement.. HUGE changes to a couple of our packages (the babe to tot for one - will be completely revamped).. great new ideas.. and opportunities for my clients - even, gasp - studio sessions.. all things I think my clients will really love..

for today, I'm still in Augusta and have a few little kids to photograph this afternoon - and I am so looking forward to it.  Daffodils and pecan trees, cute little kids and gorgeous weather - what more could i ask for.

If you are a past client or a client with an upcoming session look for a little packet of info headed your way..  if you haven't already received this packet in the mail, you will in the next week..  

For 2009, if you refer someone for a session and they book and complete a session, you will receive a print credit toward your next session's prints!  You can collect as many as you can refer and use them all at one time or however you wish!  HOW COOL IS THAT????  I always ask new clients how they heard of me, but if I miss one let me know.. I LOVE referrals - it's the best way of advertising.. so... look for one of these hot little cards..

 

and check out the sweet gift certificates.. you can get them for any amount or for a specific program/package.. what ever you like..

sick kids :: warm weather please

it's been such a long week.. i just hate when the kids are sick.. two walking pneumonia and one strep.. 

hoping to have healthy kids by the weekend and some time to post some peeks too!

dreaming of summer :: a busy summer

just not feeling great today - better than yesterday but goodness, sooo ready for Spring and Summer and being outdoors and running around - chasing little kids with my camera!

finally got enough energy to check my email today - had two new bookings and realized, June is completely booked.. July is getting there.  May is getting tight too. 

as far as travel.. well, gosh.. lots going on.. 

March 8th and 9th, I will be in Augusta, GA and can fit in one more session on Monday morning.  

June 14th and 15th, going to be in Myrtle Beach, SC photographing a wonderful family and meeting another photog there to help with a project.. and will have room for probably one additional session while we are there.

June 21st - 27th - Outer Banks, NC.  I can fit in at least two more sessions if anyone would like...

Also, a Nashville/Brentwood, TN trip at some point this fall.  And if I'm not scheduled but you'd like me to come to you, email me and we will see if we can figure something out!

we had good friends come and stay last weekend.  a house full of little kids - gosh.. i've known Chase and Cathleen for - wow, twelve years or so.   It is the coolest thing to see their kids.. and see how much the kids are JUST like them.. they are from further South and don't see snow much at all.  waking up on Sunday morning with a good bit of snow on the ground was exactly what Cathleen ordered!

  she was not too thrilled with the snow.. and Daddy is more of a "warm golf course" kind of guy - me too!!!

it was a very fun weekend... and so nice to have them here and have our families together...

a bit of history :: cool coincidences..

loving my new home office space and studio... got my little model ready for some pics the other day - wanted to see just how much lovely light came through... going to be so perfect. 

in this pic, the little case she is sitting on is from my husband's Grandfather.  it's an old camera case which holds a treasure of old cool stuff.. Nikon camera, old flash bulbs, a light meter which I LOVE.. and it works great..  also in my office is the camera my Grandpa took to WWII with him.. I've seen so many pictures he took from his travels while in the Army and in the South Pacific.  If you have a chance, read the Ghost Mountain Boys - it's an account of the part of the war my Grandpa lived.  Not long not long after Grandpa died my Grandma gave me his camera - would have been late 1980's..  very grateful to have..

another very cool thing (well, to me) is the coins she was playing with were from my husband and my first trip to Paris when we were just dating.. didn't notice that until after i was studying the photo..
